Komani Guesthouse

The Komani Guesthouse that stays dear to your heart will be the one that allows you the peace and freedom to use the facilities as though they were your own. It’s not a matter of luxury as much as it is of integrity. Having the sense of security that comes from being certain that you are in am honest and safe space means the most. Every guesthouse in Komani has good beds, kettles, TV’s and fridges. Not every place has the integrous approach of my own personal favourite. No saccharine falsehoods from the staff and owner, just sensible, honest service and hospitality.

Falling ill at a guesthouse is a scary experience, but luckily I and my friends were in the right place where the owners response to our emergency was human and decent and immediate. The man left his bed and drove us to the hospital, waited with us for our treatment and let us get back to bed once our emergency was attended to (we had been infected with a parasite in the weeks before our stay at the guesthouse in Komani) this wonderful person stayed up and watched over us, showing authentic concern and empathy.
