Queenstown Hotels
When I visit Komani, which is a little town in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, I am always interested by the fierce competition between the Queenstown Hotels, lodges, guest houses and bed and breakfasts in the area. Komani is a very beautiful area and one would think that eco tourism and the like would fill most beds, but the heavy blue collar industrial, agricultural and mechanically oriented workforce and facilities make for an unusual mix of visitors. Along with the tourists come business people, contractors and ordinary folk who need to come in from outlying rural areas to use the hospitals, educational facilities and general services provided in Queenstown.
Quality Accommodation in Komani
The wonderful thing bout this competition is that there are a few places that have managed to exceed the others and today Queenstown boasts some of the best hitel service and general hospitality the country has to offer. My budget keeps me firmly in the affordable bracket however, and I wouldn’t have it any other way since once one has found that magical gem of a stay away from home that feels like going to a second home, that particular place will remain important to you for as long as you ever visit. The people become friends over time and finding a place where the service offering is authentic, sincere, beautiful, comfortable and very good value for money is actually life changing. Working away from home is a stressful activity, made pleasant by a welcoming dinner and a comfortable bedroom.
Years go by and I begin to think of my time in Komani as bring just as lovely and important to me as my own home. The very particular place I keep in my heart shall remain nameless but a sampling of what’s on offer inevitably leads to the same unpretentious but high value guest house.
